About Us
We are the Regnier family of Happy Baby Ranch.
We are first generation horse ranchers, having left the upper middle class world to chase our dream of training amazing horses & living the western lifestyle.
Who we are...
We are a husband & wife team, raising our two beautiful girls and nurturing our marriage in what we believe is the best environment possible: God’s Creation. We love being outdoors & caring for horses and are building a life around both.
How we went from middle class to the middle of nowhere...
Since before we got married, we have loved horses & the Western way of life. Beautiful, simple, in God’s Creation.
Our love of horses took us to a honeymoon in Wyoming, to jury-rigging a horse setup in our backyard, to buying a ranch in North Dakota, to our current ranch in the hills of western Wisconsin.
Christopher exchanged his suit & tie for a cowboy hat and boots, Faustina dusted off her gear, and we got started. Happy Baby Ranch was born.

Faustina's Story
Faustina grew up around horses & quickly developed a reputation as a “horse whisperer”. While many view horses as a tool, that should do what they’re told when they’re told to do it; Faustina sees them as partners, worthy of respect & open to relationship. She works to earn their trust & then their love, developing once-in-a-lifetime partnerships along the way.
Christopher's Story
Christopher grew up in an upper middle class family & didn’t have much opportunity to be around horses, although he changed that as fast as he could. With a background in software sales, Christopher leverages his business skills alongside his budding horsemanship to assist Faustina in connecting clients with the horses of their dreams.
Faustina's Story
Faustina grew up around horses & quickly developed a reputation as a “horse whisperer”. What makes us different
Here is a horse you can give your heart to… and who will give you theirs in return.
Some people view horses as tools; that are supposed to do what they’re told, when they’re told to do it, without complaint.
We see horses as individuals you can have a relationship with. You can earn their trust, and they can let you into their heart (helping you go deeper in your own heart in the process). You can have relationship with a horse, not only giving them your heart but receiving theirs in return.
We’re not “horse whisperers”, telling things to horses. We’re horse listeners, hearing what they say without words.
